Do not nag

My second variation of my earlier Imam Manson without the caption. Please note that my material has my copyright and has my protective digital signature.

Prints of this image are available for sale (just click it).

This image has now been on CNN, VOA and many newspaper. I made this last year and wrote an Art manifesto for a new school of Art called DaGod. DaGod as an offshoot of Dada but it protests against religious fundamentalism.

The image was taken by someone in the “Campaign for promotion of Imam Naghi” shortly after I had it published in the iranian.com web site. The group turned it to their mascot.

The explanation of this image is that it ridicules the fundamentalists who with their serial killer characteristics wear the cloak of saints ( although being an atheist I don’t think too highly of saints!).

Worship my god or I’ll hit you on the head! (!

The contradictory aspect of faith when they pretend to bring peace and freedom for mankind but in reality force you into a small mindset has been depicted by the dove image.
It says:
Worship my god or I’ll hit you on the head!

Bakhtak is a demon that attacks at night whilst you are sleeping and sucks your life source. Here a Mullah is depicted as such a demon attacking a sleeping woman.

Christopher Hitchens one of my great mentors has died.
No doubt he would be sadly missed for his razor sharp intellect.
A fellow atheist (and rather militant about it) no one could match him in a debate.

I didn’t agree with all his views but in my view he is one of those who puts the capital B in what is great about the British culture.

Whatever you say don’t say “May God save his soul!” not if you respect the man.

We watch as our fathers fall

I saw so many from the generation of revolutionaries, bow down and regret the mad frenzy of their youth. The fever that left them blindly hand the golden keys of power to the most corrupt, backward elements of our society. These men and women living in diaspora, watched as their families transformed and scattered. Many living lonely lives, many wondering where their lives went.

Imam Manson

This is my most famous DaGod image. It became famous because a group took it and used it as Imam Naghi. They applied the DaGod principles and did spoof videos. I’m not sure if they did it on the back of the articles I wrote providing the concept or if they had similar ideas as me. Whatever it was, it was welcomed.

These are the videos which they made:

This is the article in iranian.com where they publicised it.
